Reunions:
We have hosted a number of family functions. With ample space and
knowledge of the areas best family events, we can accommodate your
reunion and ensure the event won't soon be forgotten!
Weddings:
Candlewyck is a picturesque and romantic destination in and of itself,
and the town of Pentwater serves as a beautiful backdrop to your wedding.
We'll make planning your wedding on the shores of Lake Michigan effortless.
Romantic
Getaways:
Planning a special romantic getaway with someone you love? We will
be happy to arrange for flowers, champagne and candy for your special
occasion. We can even schedule time with a massage therapist!
Mountain
Biking and Hiking:
Pentwater Pathways is located in the Pere Marquette State Forest and
is under care of OCCSA and the Michigan Wildlife Division of DNR.
The Pathways trail system includes four loops totaling 15.5 miles,
with beginner to advanced trails. The trails cover mostly soft hills,
are heavily wooded and offer abundant wildlife. We are also located
close to the Montague Bike Trail in Hart.
Golf
Outings:
In the shadow of the majestic Silver Lake Sand Dunes, on the shores
of Lake Michigan, experience some of the most exciting, challenging
golf in West Michigan's Oceana County! We can plan the whole weekend
for you. Set-up tee times, provide lunches and travel arrangements.
Fishing
Trips:
1-2 day charter trips on the Big Lake with some of the great lakes
best charter captains. Sportsfishing in Lake Michigan with a Pentwater
harbor charter captain usually begins in early Spring and ends in
the late Fall.
Basket
Weaving Classes
Mary Jo is an expert basket weaver
and for those of you interested in arts and crafts, she is more than
happy to teach you her tricks of the trade.

While Pentwater and the Candlewyck
House reflect the charm and warmth of a bygone era, we couldn't do
without the comforts of the 21st century. We'll arrange an entire
spa-oriented weekend, and you'll never feel so relaxed.
