Main Floor - Queen Bed
Suite Abigail is named for Abigail Pierce, who painted the two floral
panels in the room circa 1880. She was Mary Jo Neidow's great aunt,
an artist and teacher in South Bend, Indiana, late in the 19th century.
These two paintings were a wedding gift from Mrs. Neidow's parents.
Suite Abigail boasts a claw foot bathtub, and a mini kitchen. - Rates
Hanna's Hideaway
Second Floor North - Double Bed
Tucked under the eaves of the house, this warm and cozy room was originally
"Olli's Room" because Olli'Pekka Helenius of Nokia, Finland
stayed here while he was the Neidow's exchange student in Pentwater.
When he married Hanna-Maria, a jazz singer in Helsinki, the name was
changed to honor her. It features an antique, wrought iron bed in
the former sleeping porch and a claw-foot tub under a skylight for
relaxing beneath the stars. - Rates
Patriot
Second Floor South - Queen Bed
The Betsy Ross flag quilt set the theme for this Yankee Doodle Dandy
room. Mary Jo Neidow majored in colonial American history in college
and everything patriotic has been a passion with her since. That passion
shows up here from the throw rug on the floor to the curtains on the
walls. Guests who share her zeal for Americana love this room. Former
Patriot guest, James Oxford, image-maker for the movie "The Patriot",
contributed a collage of his drawings for the movie that are now featured

Second Floor East - Queen & Twin Beds
The nautical theme celebrates generations on the water and under sail.
Relax and feel right at home in our cottage themed room. Large private

Fireside Suite
Second Floor West - Queen & Twin Beds
While the antique fly rod on the wall says "cabin", the
loveseat in front of the gas log fireplace says "cozy".
It's close to staying in a north woods cabin, yet retains personal
comfort. The bright outdoors decor adds to the spacious atmosphere
of our largest room. The Fireside also features a mini-kitchen, and

English Ivy Suite
Main Floor - Queen Bed
This hunter green and burgundy room features an 800 pound rolled steel,
hand-forged four poster queen size bed. The English Ivy Room is just
bursting with all manor of romantic English cottage style collectibles.
It has a shower, big fireplace flanked by 2 comfortable club chairs,
mini-kitchen and a private entry. This is our most requested room!
