   Welcome to The Candlewyck House Bed & Breakfast! We are located in the historic lakefront village of Pentwater between Ludington and Muskegon in western Michigan. Built in 1868, The Candlewyck House reflects the charm and warmth of a bygone era with all the comforts of the 21st century. Here, the pace of life slows as you take in the sights, sounds and smells of a simpler time. With each new day, you are summoned from a restful slumber by the aroma of a full country breakfast. At your own pace, the day begins. Relax in the sun on our large brick patio or stroll the plush gardens that surround the entire property. It’s a short walk to town where shopping and dining are abundant. Casually stroll the picturesque streets and beaches, or borrow one of the many bicycles available to our guests and explore all that our beautiful waterside village has to offer.

The Candlewyck House has 6 rooms, each of which are thematically decorated to reflect the rich history of our bed & breakfast. Each room has its own private bathroom, A/C, cable TV, VCR and access to a mini kitchen. Two of our rooms also have a gas log fireplace. There are hundreds of movies to choose from, a library with over 4000 books and 24-hour complementary snacks.

We provide the most comfortable and convenient accommodations you’ll find in all of western Michigan. In fact, if there is something special we can do to further accommodate you, just let us know. We’ll arrange flowers and champagne in the room, make dinner reservations and do our best to fulfill any request you may have. We also accommodate large groups for family reunions, weddings, fishing trips and more.
